Ajuma Foundation in Uasin Gishi County, Kapkenduiywo Primary School.

Kapkenduiywo Primary School was our first stop in Uasin Gishu County. The school was home to the oldest Kenyan student, Kimani Marugi. We donated to nearly 1200 exercise books to over 500 School children.

Ajuma Foundation's mission

The Ajuma Foundation was founded by Ajuma Nasanyena, an international model born in Turkana, Kenya.
She has participated in numerous fashion shows around the world, publications and advertising campaigns.
Ajuma has supported top fashion designers and cosmetic brands.

When she returned to Kenya and started her own agency, she wanted to give back to her community in Turkana and support those seeking help at the Kakuma refugee camp from their war-torn countries.
She wanted to give them the opportunity to change their destiny, as she had done many years ago.

To empower, hope and build confidence in the youth residing in the Kakuma refugee camp and Turkana in general, by providing them with engaging and dynamic training in hair, make-up, tailoring and design, photography, modelling and digital skills through a skills-based workshop.

They will be in a better position to shape their future by enhancing their abilities with the skills they learn, giving them the opportunity to change their lives.

Feminist activist
In addition to modelling, Nasanyana has decried the apparent trend in her native Kenya to reject indigenous black African standards of physical beauty in favour of those of other communities.
In an interview with Kenya's Daily Nation newspaper, she said that it seems the world is conspiring to preach that there is something wrong with Kenyan women's kinky hair and dark skin [...].

Their leaflets all talk about skin lightening, and they seem to be doing good business in Kenya. This shocks me.
It's not normal for a Caucasian to tell us to lighten our skin [...] I have never tried to change my skin. I am natural. People in Europe and America like my dark skin.
But here in Kenya, in my home country, some people consider it unattractive.

Launching a Natural Cosmetics & Skin Care Line
To address this, Nasanyana is planning to launch a natural cosmetics and skincare line for women like her.
She hopes her products will inspire her contemporaries to love their own appearance instead of trying to change it through artificial means, such as skin whitening.

Achieving French and also European Digital Sovereignty against GAFAM and BATX must be the priority for all.

The Challenge: to achieve Global Digital Sovereignty not limited to personal or strategic data...
* Personal data
* Strategic data
* Internet browsing data
* Adapting e-commerce to the local in order to protect local businesses
* Stop putting tracking or traffic measurement tags on websites

Smartrezo is a local Market Place and virtuous social network
Succeed together in changing the habits of Internet users, who by staying on traditional American social networks are solicited by targeted advertisements that kill local businesses.
Knowing how to bring together all the French digital players on Smartrezo in order to offer their alternative solutions to the greatest number of people
Leave the "inter-industry" imposed by the algorithms of the GAFAM platforms
Stop doing everything on their own, because this division plays into the hands of the Internet giants.

Analysis by DIGNILOG

Find out which third-party sites are hiding behind the web pages you visit, and their targeted advertising activities. Website for users.

Smartrezo is a social network that wishes to take root in the territories.
It is part of an "anti GAFAM" concept and denounces its economic model. As a corollary, it attaches particular importance to the absence of any tracking of the user apart from technical needs.
Thus, no third party site (apart from the localetv site, associated with the social network, also without tracers) is linked to Smartrezo, which is moreover one of the rare sites to make the user aware of the risks linked to the use of application buttons of other RS in its confidentiality policy. To be commended!
As you know, there are many websites on the Internet that collect a lot of our personal data. Although most Internet users are aware of this, the breadth and depth of the phenomenon is perhaps less known
When you are on your mobile phone, you don't necessarily want to waste too much time looking at endless T&Cs or consent windows.

Advertisers know this and exploit this weakness. This is how many sites that we don't even know exist collect our data and our behaviour on the web.
